ADS (Adult Day Support)
Available for people using Individual Options, Level One, and SELF waivers
Adult Day Support (sometimes called “Day Hab” or “Adult Day Array”) helps a person build connections in their community. With this service, people can learn:
- how to meet and talk with new people,
- what activities are in their community,
- how to get places independently,
- and what jobs are available in their area.
While taking part in Adult Day Support services, a person can also have help with personal care, such as going to the restroom and eating meals.

Vocational Habilitation
Vocational Habilitation is often called Voc Hab for short. It is a service which provides learning and work experiences, including volunteer work, that help to develop general skills that lead to integrated community employment in a job that matches the person's interests, strengths, priorities, and abilities.
Vocational Habilitation can help someone learn:
- effective communication with supervisors, co-workers, customers, and other people in the workplace,
- generally accepted community workplace conduct and dress
- problem-solving skills and strategies,
- workplace safety,
- speaking up for themselves at work,
- arranging and using transportation to get to and from work, and
- how to advance on the path to community employment.

Group Employment
Group Employment Support can help a person learn new job skills that will help them get a job they want in the community. It is a service that helps people
- learn to work with other people,
- make lists of work tasks,
- make a plan for working in the community,
- learn ways to get to and from work,
- and understand how to work as part of a group.
People taking part in this service may work at one location or the group may travel to a few different locations to work. Group Employment Support is provided in community settings, which offers groups of workers with disabilities paid employment and work experience.

HPC (Homemaker Personal Care)
Homemaker/Personal Care, often called HPC, supports a person to be more independent while meeting their daily living needs. Homemaker/personal care advances the individual’s independence within his/her home and community and helps the individual meet daily living needs. Examples of supports include:
- Self Advocacy training to assist the expression of personal preferences, asserting rights, and making increasingly responsible choices,
- Self-Direction making decisions and choices affecting the individual’s life, Daily Living Skills including training in and providing assistance with meal preparation, personal care, self-administration of medication,
- Implementation of recommended therapeutic interventions under the direction of a professional or extension of therapeutic services, which consist of reinforcing physical, occupational, speech, and other therapeutic programs, Behavioral support strategies including training and assistance in appropriate expressions of emotions, assertiveness, or acquisition of socially-appropriate behaviors
- Medical and health care services such as routine administration of medication or tending to the needs of individuals who are ill or require attention to the medical needs on an ongoing basis
- Emergency response training including development of responses in case of emergencies, prevention planning, and training in the use of equipment or technologies,
- Community access services that explore community services available to all people, and activities needed by the individual to be integrated in and have more access to the community,
- When provided with other components of homemaker/personal care, assist with personal finances.

NMT (Non-medical Transportation)
Non-Medical Transportation assists a person with transportation to their day services, employment services, or places of employment.

Money Management
Through this service, a direct service provider can help a person with managing their personal finances, like writing checks, paying bills, and keeping track of cash, income, or benefits. The service also includes training to assist a person to acquire, retain, or improve those skills.

Respite
This service pays for a person to receive support when their regular caregiver, paid or unpaid is not available or needs a break.
